  • good news

    i know i don't use this anymore, but i thought i would share some good news, for those who are interested:

    • after finishing my taxes today, i found out that i will be receiving  a total refund of close to $2600, which should be just enough to cover most of the bills that i haven't paid over the last couple of months
    • i accepted a job offer today to become the Assistant Tennis Pro at Barrington Hills Country Club.  this will be the best job opportunity I have had thus far in my young life.

  • i'm not much into his music, but i haven't appreciated many people's lyrics as I have john mayer's over the last few years, including this from his latest:

    anyway, hi all that haven't heard from me in a while.  it's been 4 months to the day since the last time i posted on here, and chances are good i actually won't be using xanga again.  so this is my official good-bye, and my official transfer to facebook.  you can find me there if all hope is lost and you desperately need phil bloss.  sayonara xanga.

  • trug

    its been 10 days since my last entry:

    david got in an accident, now he has stuff on his face

    i gave him a hug

    ken is back from japan

    we ate meijer chicken in the back of his trug

    (ken doesn't have a trug, he has a truck, but truck doesn't rhyme with hug)

    been super busy, woke up at 7am to write a paper i forgot about

    i have to work all day every day all weekend and somehow find time to hang out with ken

    life is pretty okay

  • quick story:

    so david and i are walking home last night, and these two guys pass us running in the opposite direction holding a whole bunch of stuff in their hands, like crates and boxes filled with apartment stuff.  so david asks if they're moving in, and they saym "actually, we just found all this stuff in that alley over there, so if you want, you can go check it out and take whatever."

    so as it turns out, some guys had to move out of their place super fast, and so they dumped everything they owned in the alley behind their place.  AND it turned out that david is very good friends with these guys.  so what that turned into is us scoring a whole bunch of free stuff for our apartment by digging it out of the garbage in this alley and carrying it two blocks.

    so sweet.

    ....btw, davie wants to be called david, so i'm practicing on xanga
